Taiwanese singer-songwriter Kay Huang plays the mother figure in many aspects of her life.

She is the mother of 21-year-old, Arthur, with whom she is as thick as thieves. She and Arthur's father, Taiwanese music producer Shen Kuang-yuan, were married from 1993 to 2010.
