The latest Spider-Man film resembles a dialogue-driven teen ensemble comedy

Just in case anyone has forgotten that Spider-Man is now part of the greater Marvel movie family, the poster has Fury standing menacingly to the side, pistol at the ready.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe elements in this film could have been marketing-driven name-dropping because of the frequent references to Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) and appearances by Fury and Hill, but the Stark elements do fit into this story.
