The Revenant scoops best film at Britain's Baftas

LONDON (AFP) - Epic survival tale The Revenant won the best film prize at Britain's Bafta awards on Sunday (Feb 14), seen as a key predictor of success at the upcoming Oscars.

The film took top honours in a number of categories with Leonardo DiCaprio winning best actor and Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu bagging best director.

Brie Larson was awarded best actress for her role in the harrowing kidnapping tale Room.
