LOS ANGELES - An eye-opening Amazon Prime Video docuseries, Lorena, revisits the world-famous case of Lorena Bobbitt, who in 1993 severed her husband's penis with a kitchen knife after he repeatedly raped and abused her. It goes beyond the headlines - and punchlines - to reveal what really happened, including how fixated with the missing penis police were and how Bobbitt tried to get back with her afterwards.

Speaking at a screening of the series in Hollywood, the former Mrs Bobbitt, whose maiden name is Gallo, got a standing ovation from the audience, as did director Joshua Rofe.
