LOS ANGELES • Taylor Swift has broken new ground by stating her political stand - but is she as brave as some think or does her move come with all safety bases covered?

Hours after she walked off-stage last Saturday in Texas, she posted a photo on Instagram: an image of her joyously dancing on stage in a sparkly rainbow dress.
