HONG KONG • TVB actress Tavia Yeung and actor Him Law returned to Hong Kong as man and wife yesterday, after quietly marrying in Leeds Castle in England last Tuesday, said Apple Daily.

Landing at the airport in the afternoon, they were surrounded by reporters. In an interview, Him, 31, spoke of Yeung, 36, as "my wife" repeatedly and kissed her, said the report.

The couple got together in 2011, around the time they shot the medical drama The Hippocratic Crush. Late last year, they were reported to be planning a March wedding in Thailand.

But they sneaked to England instead and had a ceremony that was attended by Yeung's mother, sister and brother-in-law, as well as Law's father, said Ming Pao Daily News.

Apple Daily broke the news of the wedding online last Friday, after Yeung's sister shared photos of the family in England on Facebook and let the cat out of the bag.

Last Saturday, Ming Pao and Apple Daily published photos of the wedding couple at the castle.

Yesterday, Yeung said she wanted a "perfect memory" of the wedding.

Asked if she was pregnant, she answered: "My waist is still 22 inches today."

She has said Law is mature, calm, analytical and gives her a sense of security, reported Ming Pao. Her husband, who grew up in a walled village, has said he is traditional and looks forward to starting a family.
