SINGAPORE - Taiwanese singer-actress Pets Tseng says she was initially a little intimidated by local actors Elvin Ng and Romeo Tan, who act opposite her in the new Mediacorp drama All Is Well - a 40-episode Singapore-Taiwan creative collaboration that began airing on Monday.

"I heard from my friends that they're both 'nan shen' in Singapore," Tseng says, referring to a Chinese term that translates literally to "male god" - which fans use liberally to describe good-looking male celebrities.
