Home-grown actor Christopher Lee only makes a cameo in new Taiwan movie Black & White: The Dawn Of Justice, but he sure made a mark on the set.
Both the director of the movie, Tsai Yueh-hsun, and its leading man Mark Chao, had nothing but praise for Lee and his good looks.
Speaking to local media at a press conference on Wednesday afternoon, director Tsai said in Mandarin with a grin: "Every single female staff member on the set of the movie is in love with Christopher Lee, whether it's the make-up artist, or the crew member, or whoever. When they see him, they all have this extreme... I can't even put it into words. It's more than admiration for him."
He added: "And there is no age limit for the women. All of them love him. I think it's because he has that charisma as a middle-aged man." Lee is 43.
The 30-year-old Chao, known as one of Taiwan's hottest hunks, piped up: "Even (co-star) Gengxin and I think Christopher Lee is super, super handsome."
In the film, which opens in cinemas on Oct 9, Lee plays a military general. The movie is part of the popular Black & White TV and film franchise, which has Chao in the role of cop Hero Wu.
