SINGAPORE - K-drama fans have been swept away not just by the sweet romances in the plot but also the locales they are filmed in, as two of the hottest new shows take viewers abroad to exotic locations.

Romantic drama Encounter, which stars A-listers Song Hye-kyo and Park Bo-gum, had many scenes shot in Havana, Cuba, while fantasy series Memories Of The Alhambra, starring Hyun Bin and Park Shin-hye, was largely filmed in Spain and Slovenia.
