SINGAPORE - Taiwanese actress Huang Pei-chia, leading lady of Netflix's first Mandarin original series from Malaysia The Ghost Bride, was most impressed with the underworld portrayed in her new project.

The 31-year-old actress was curious to see how life after death would look like in the new supernatural fantasy drama in which her character Li Lan is pressured to marry a dead man from a wealthy family to relieve her family's financial woes.
