#StarringJohnCho now a reality

Given the apparent increase in diversity in American film and television, the Korean-American is optimistic about Asians' future in the movie industry

Two years ago, the #StarringJohnCho social media campaign Photoshopped the actor's face onto famous movie posters to make a point: You hardly see Asians headlining Hollywood films.

But today, things have changed a little. The recent box-office smash, Crazy Rich Asians, and the Netflix teenage romance, To All The Boys I've Loved Before, were both headlined by Asian stars.
