A highly anticipated follow-up from an award-winning director, a monster movie set underground and a dystopian comedy are among the local films Singaporeans can look forward to watching in 2019.

Last year's crop of about a dozen releases made in Singapore or by Singaporeans will be matched by the same number this year, if a list provided by the Singapore Film Commission is any indication.
