American singer and actress Selena Gomez is set to perform in Singapore for the first time at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on July 27. Ticketing details will be announced later.

The 23-year-old, recently named the most followed personality on Instagram, was originally scheduled to make her debut show here back in 2014. But she cancelled it, as well as the rest of her Asian and Australian tour, citing the need to "spend some time on myself in order to be the best person I can be".

Known also for her on-and-off relationship with fellow pop star Justin Bieber, the former child star of Disney TV shows has also starred in movies such as 2012 crime drama Spring Breakers.

Her first solo album, Stars Dance, debuted at No. 1 on American charts in 2013 and she has sold more than 45 million tracks to date.

Her upcoming gig is part of her Revival world tour in support of her second solo album of the same name. It made its debut at No. 1 on American charts upon its release last year.
