In May, a teaser trailer for the movie Bohemian Rhapsody went online. Fans of the film's subject, the rock band Queen and their frontman Freddie Mercury, were on the lookout for anything that smacked of selling out.

And find it they did: They decried the trailer for making it look as if Mercury was interested only in women.
