From kampung to Housing Board flat, from the 1960s to the 1970s, the saga of the Lim family has been chronicled in the movies Long Long Time Ago (2016) and Long Long Time Ago 2 (2016).

For the third movie in the series, Not So Long Time Ago, which will be released at the end of this year, director Jack Neo says he wants to stay true to his original plan to use real locations, whenever possible.
