LOS ANGELES - Oscar winners Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman are getting on the television bandwagon.

They will star in an adaptation of the Liane Moriarty novel Big Little Lies by Ally McBeal creator David E. Kelley, says The Hollywood Reporter.

No network has been attached yet to the series, which will have a limited run, adds the report.

Australian author Moriarty's book, which was optioned by the actresses' production companies a month after its publication in July, is a kindergarten murder mystery. The story follows three mothers with young children at the school.
