SEOUL • South Korean star Rain has founded his own entertainment agency.

"Rain signed up with the Rain Company on Oct 1," the company said in a statement, reported Yonhap News.

The company said it will have separate teams in charge of managing singers and actors and Chinese affairs, while leading Hollywood agency, William Morris Endeavor Entertainment, will handle United States affairs for the Korean firm.

Rain, 33, launched the company after his two-year contract with Cube Entertainment ended last September.

The singer-actor performed at a Sino-Korean Stars Charity Concert in Tianjin on Sunday.

Others on stage included K-pop groups T-ara and Taiwanese singer Jeff Chang.
