SEOUL • Korean Wave star Park Yu Chun's agency has denied a second woman's claim about being sexually assaulted by the singer- actor and says he will leave the entertainment industry if he is found guilty. The 30-year-old star was first accused of raping a woman at a bar in Gangnam and his agency had denied the charge and vowed to take legal action against the woman for defamation.

The woman has since dropped the complaint, but the police said on Wednesday they would investigate the case nonetheless.

On Thursday, another woman claimed to have been sexually assaulted by the star and his agency C-JeS Entertainment issued a statement saying the charge "has no basis in truth". It said: "It is regretful to find news of this second suit in media reports, when Park has yet to begin making testimonies for the first complaint against him.

"Park is going through a great psychological shock. This agency urges everyone to refrain from sensationalising the news and to patiently wait for the investigating institutions' decision. Park Yu Chun will leave the entertainment industry if any of the accusations is found to be true."
