Hong Kong - Director Oxide Pang made a public apology on Wednesday night for cheating on his wife, actress Lee Sinje, with a young model. He posted his apology after the couple released a statement in the afternoon, saying they would face the future "together", said Apple Daily.

His statement read: "In the statement in the afternoon, people couldn't find 'sorry' and felt I hadn't admitted my mistake."

He said he had not said sorry because he was "completely wrong" and did not think he should be forgiven for his mistake just by saying sorry.

"The mistake I made has also thoroughly hurt someone who has been so giving to me, and caused heartache and disappointment among a lot of people who love her," he said.

"I really accept everybody's condemnation. Because of this mistake, I am not worthy of being forgiven, even I can't forgive myself. Sorry."
