It's Academy Awards night, when Hollywood honours the best films of 2016 with its golden prize called Oscar.

The musical La La Land, with the most nominations at 14, is the frontrunner for Best Picture but face serious competition from inspirational drama Hidden Figures and coming-of-age tale Moonlight.
