On the hunt for hidden crimes and hidden truths

The producers of the new series, Hunters, want to show the parallels of past fascist movements and today's racism and xenophobia

Unlike its rival Netflix, Amazon Prime Video has not really had a big, globally popular original series on its streaming service yet.

But it is making a major play for that with Hunters, a comic book-like fantasy drama about a ragtag band of Nazi hunters in 1970s New York. When the group discovers scores of high-ranking German officials hiding in America and conspiring to create a Fourth Reich, it sets out on a bloody quest for vengeance.
