NEW YEAR'S EVE MIDNIGHT YOGA AND MEDITATION

What: Usher in the new year on a quiet and introspective note by participating in a two-hour hatha yoga and meditation session conducted by volunteers from Asian Spiritual Classics.

The session is open to anyone including newbies to yoga and meditation. This is the first time the non-profit society is organising a New Year's Eve themed event.

Participants are welcome to bring their own snacks and non- alcoholic drinks.

Where: Oasis Holistic, 01-50 Selegie House, 10 Selegie Road

When: 10pm to 1am

OVERNIGHT BRUNCH PARTY AT ARTISTRY

What: If you fancy a piping-hot plate of brunch grub in a mellow, communal setting after a night of hardcore revelry, make a trip to Artistry cafe, where brunch will be served from dusk to dawn for just this one night.

The cafe's signature brunch staples, including its BRB (blueberry, ricotta and bacon) Pancake ($16) and potato hash with scrambled eggs ($20), will be available. If you prefer a meaty and hearty treat, the Artistry chilli crab burger ($25) is available too.

Drink to the new year with one of Artistry's creative cocktails ($15 each) with a local twist, such as the pandan mojito or rum chendol.

STREET EATS & UNDER- GROUND BEATS

What: A back alley off Gemmill Lane will be transformed into a venue for a hip street party on New Year's Eve, co-organised by chic Mediterranean restaurants Maggie Joan's and Moosehead Kitchen & Bar.

There will be free flow of champagne, wine and beer plus a mouth-watering spread of Mediterranean bites and a barbecue meat feast of lamb and pork cooked over an open flame.

Adding to the underground vibe will be a DJ dropping urban beats till the wee hours of the morning.

Where: Maggie Joan's Dining & Bar, 01-01, 110 Amoy Street (entrance from Gemmill Lane)

When: 9pm to 2am

Admission: $160 (minimum age entry is 18)
