South Korean actor-singer Park Yoo Chun and fiancee Hwang Ha Na have split up, according to reports from Korean news outlets including Yonhap news agency.

Park is a member of popular K-pop boy band JYJ and also appeared in well-received romantic dramas such as the time-travelling comedy Rooftop Prince (2012). Hwang's family founded a dairy conglomerate. Their wedding plans were announced in April last year.

The relationship between the two is reported to date back to 2016, when Park faced multiple allegations of sexual assault.

He has been cleared of all charges and is reportedly suing two of the accusers for defamation.

Park's agent C-JeS Entertainment confirmed that the engagement was at an end, without giving further details, Yonhap reported.

Park, 32, entered the K-pop scene as a member of the now-defunct boy band TVXQ. His break-out TV role was as the romantic lead in gender-bending historical hit Sungkyunkwan Scandal (2010).

His career reportedly took a hit after the 2016 allegations, though a fan-meeting in Japan in March this year signalled plans for a comeback.
