On the surface, the French film An Easy Girl seems to be a female buddy comedy that offers the usual lessons - the "nice" girl shows the "wild" girl the meaning of real love, while the wild one teaches the nice one how to fling caution to the wind and follow her heart.

But this is not what happens in director and co-writer Rebecca Zlotowski's film.
