NIGHTWISH ENDLESS FORMS MOST BEAUTIFUL WORLD TOUR 2015-2016

The two terms "symphonic" and "metal" are unlikely bedfellows except, perhaps, when it comes to describing the music of Finnish band Nightwish - they might well convince you that they go together like a song. Endless Forms Most Beautiful (2015) is the title of their latest album and it is taken from a quote by naturalist Charles Darwin on evolution. This is the first time they are performing in Singapore.

WALK THE MOON LIVE IN SINGAPORE

The biggest hit from American pop-rock outfit Walk The Moon (above) is Shut Up And Dance, which rocketed to No. 1 on Billboard's rock and alternative songs charts. There are more infectious tracks from the band to groove to, including their breakthrough single Anna Sun.

RIE FU BAND LIVE IN SINGAPORE - LIFE IS LIKE A BOAT

Singer-songwriter Rie fu (above), who performs in Japanese and English, has been making music since 2004. Even if her name is unfamiliar, you might have heard her songs if you are an anime fan. Her works include I Wanna Go To A Place..., used as an ending theme for the popular mecha anime series Gundam Seed Destiny (2004-2005), and Life Is Like A Boat, heard in the fantasy series Bleach (2004-2012). At her gig, she will be collaborating with some members of Singapore band Goodfellas.
