SINGAPORE - Netflix is flexing its creative muscles in Asia, with its first Korean variety show - Busted! - starting production today in South Korea.

The American streaming company is tying up with Company SangSang, a production company founded by Hyuk Jae Jang and Hyo Jin Cho, the producers behind hit variety shows including Running Man and Family Outing.

Busted!, slated for a global launch on Netflix next year, will feature stars solving a mystery in each episode. The show will be shot in various locations in South Korea.
