British composer and musician Jon Hopkins released one of the most feted electronic music albums of 2018, Singularity, a work that he says is the product of his subconscious mind.

Speaking to The Straits Times ahead of his return to Singapore for a concert at the Capitol Theatre on Wednesday, the 39-year-old says that he turned to meditation to help with his creative process for his fifth album.
