In the novel The Sun Is Also A Star, a young woman thinks romance is rubbish, while the young man she meets think they were destined to meet and fall in love.

Actor Charles Melton, 28, plays Daniel in the film adaptation and, like his character, he believes in the idea of true love - even if that means letting go of the male ego.
