LOS ANGELES (NYT) - Another week, another photo finish on the Billboard album chart, with streaming numbers deciding the victor.

The top spot this week goes to rapper Logic whose new album Everybody had 196,000 sales in the United States, according to Nielsen.

Chris Stapleton, the outsider country star, actually sold more copies of his latest record, From A Room: Volume 1, with 202,000 copies sold.

But chart positions are now determined by a formula that takes into account how many times the songs on an album have been streamed (or sold individually, as downloads), and this gave Logic the advantage.

Tracks from Everybody were streamed 70.2 million times while From A Room had just 13.5 million streams.

Altogether, Logic's album was credited with the equivalent of 247,000 sales, and Stapleton's 219,000.

Kendrick Lamar's Damn. fell to No. 3 after three weeks at the top.

The classic-rock-heavy soundtrack to Guardians Of the Galaxy Vol 2 - this one with Electric Light Orchestra, Fleetwood Mac and Cheap Trick - is at No. 4 while Drake's More Life is in fifth place.
