Lin Ching-hsia to become grandma

HONG KONG • Former screen goddess Lin Ching-hsia, 61, is to become a grandmother after her stepdaughter announced her pregnancy.

Claudine Ying, 28, posted a picture of her boyfriend kissing her on Instagram on Sunday. "I have always dreamed of becoming a mummy one day! And today, Lloyd and I are happy to announce that we are expecting a baby!" she wrote, referring to her Australian beau.

Ying, who is reportedly nearly four months' pregnant, is the daughter of Lin's billionaire husband Michael Ying with his ex-wife Flora Cheong-Leen. She runs a children's education centre in Hong Kong.

Lin married Michael Ying in 1994 and they have two daughters.
