HONG KONG • Actress Lee Sinje and director Oxide Pang have announced that they are expecting twins, four days after her 40th birthday, said Apple Daily.
She said on Weibo yesterday: "In the new year, with hearts filled with joy, we'll welcome the arrival of two new lives!"
She shared a photo of a cartoon of a couple, an extremely pregnant empress holding hands with a man in sunglasses.
Pang, who is about 50, is one of the twins who directed Lee in horror movies such as The Eye (2002) and Re-cycle (2006). In 2014, he and his wife said they would stay together, despite him being caught on camera kissing model Liddy Li, then 26.
The couple have been married since 2010. Pang has a daughter from a previous marriage.
