Lee Sinje and straying husband Oxide Pang 'will face future together'

Hong Kong - Malaysian actress Lee Sinje and her husband, Hong Kong director Oxide Pang, said on Wednesday they would face the future "together", after he was photographed on a date with model Liddy Li last Friday.

The couple released a joint statement on Weibo, said Apple Daily. Their statement read: "A 12-year relationship can't be clarified in a few words. We are finally, slowly learning a marriage isn't just the union of a prince and a princess, who then have carefree, happy lives. We are sitting down to face right and wrong, happiness and pain, the past and the future…"

They said they were "sad because there is love", adding: "If there is no love, it may be easier to cope."

They said: "The future is unknown, we will face it together, but we will quietly listen to our hearts as we go on and let time tell us the answer."

Pang, 48, and Lee, 38, married in 2010. He and his twin brother, Danny, directed her in the 2002 horror hit The Eye. Apple Daily said Oxide Pang flew to Malaysia to save his marriage on Monday, the day photos of him kissing Li, 26, were published.
