Singaporean Timothy Lucas Tan oversees The Lion King's puppets

The hit Lion King musical is back and Singaporean Timothy Lucas Tan is behind the puppets that bring the animals to life

The imaginative use of puppets is an integral part of The Lion King's storytelling appeal and Singaporean Timothy Lucas Tan is in charge of it.

The 47-year-old, who is known in the industry as Tim Lucas, is the head of masks and puppets for the musical, which opened at Marina Bay Sands last week.
