Kanye West slammed Taylor Swift in a speech to the crowd at a Los Angeles club earlier this week.

Several recorded his rant, and posted it on YouTube.

The tirade is in response to Swift's Grammy Award acceptance speech last Monday (Feb 22), in which she stated, "There are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame."

Many believe it was a direct aim at the rapper's lyrics that Swift's publicist said the singer didn't endorse.

West claims he got permission from Swift on a phone call, and that she told him she liked the line.

"Then she won her award and said something completely different. She not cool no more (sic)," shouted West, to an applauding audience.

Only time will tell if Swift will have more to say on the matter.
