SINGAPORE - Singaporean singer-songwriter JJ Lin is up for six awards at this year's Golden Melody Awards for his album Message In A Bottle.
The album has received nods in the categories of Best Album Producer, Best Mandarin Album, Best Composer, Best Male Vocalist (Mandarin) and Song Of The Year.
It is also eligible for the Album Of The Year category.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday (May 16), the singer said in Chinese that he was "full of thanks". He thanked his team at JFJ Productions, and added: "Our efforts have been affirmed."
Message In A Bottle is Lin's 13th studio album and was released in December last year.
The nominations were revealed on Wednesday. Nods for other Singaporeans include singer Stefanie Sun and music producer and composer Kenn C, who are in the running for Best Single Producer for their song A Dancing Van Gogh. The song is the title track of Sun's album last year.
This year's awards ceremony will be held on June 23 at the Taipei Arena.
