Jazz musicians get study awards

Two budding home-grown musicians have won scholarships from the Jazz Association (Singapore) (Jass) to further their studies in jazz.

Flautist Rit Xu and saxophonist Bryan Lawrence de Rozario, who have been awarded $30,000 and $10,000 respectively, will receive the scholarships at the finale concert of the Lion City Youth Jazz Festival 2019 (LCYJF) at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre on May 18.
