SINGAPORE - Japanese film-maker Mamoru Hosoda has always let his imagination roam free in his anime movies.
The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (2006) is about a time-travelling schoolgirl; Wolf Children (2012) follows a young mother taking care of her two children with her late werewolf lover; and The Boy And The Beast (2015) features creatures with martial prowess.
