Jackie Chan's love child, Etta, won't go home, seeks help from her school again

HONG KONG - What's eating Etta Ng, 15, the love child of actor Jackie Chan?

Her mother Elaine Ng told HK Cable TV she was notified by a teacher on Wednesday that Etta did not want to go home for now. She said she had scolded Etta the night before as the teen wanted to drink beer.

She failed to meet Etta when she went to her school, but was told the principal had arranged for the daughter to stay elsewhere temporarily and for the mother to meet a social worker, said the report.

Apple Daily said Elaine left the school at about 9pm. Etta stepped out briefly with the principal, but had not left the building by midnight, said the report.

Elaine, 42, was arrested last month on suspicion of child abuse. Etta was said to have reported her mother to the police, after she underwent a medical examination in hospital, accompanied by a trusted teacher. Later, Etta said she was worried about her mother's alcoholism and was trying to help her.
