SINGAPORE - Irish alternative rock trio Ash are set to play a show at Hard Rock Cafe Singapore on July 31, their first gig here in ten years.

The band, also known in the 2000s for songs like Shining Light (2001) and Starcrossed (2004), released their seventh album Islands in May this year, a release praised by music website Drowned In Sound as "a slick, confident, emotionally mature and balanced album".

They last performed in Singapore at Fort Canning Park in 2008.
