It was a 2013 Wall Street Journal article that first told their story: 10 friends who had kept their high-school game of tag going for 23 years and counting.

The men were by then middle-aged, lived in different parts of the United States and had very different careers - one was a high-flying chief marketing officer at a national retailer, another was a priest.
