SINGAPORE - In the family drama No Letting Go (2015), an anxious boy grows into a teen prone to violent outbursts. His father offers tough love, while his brother blames the parents for not doing enough to help him be "normal".

Finally, when things reach a breaking point, they seek professional help and receive a heartbreaking diagnosis: Their son has bipolar disorder, a condition that needs lifelong management.
