British musician Howard Jones is best known for hits such as Things Can Only Get Better and What Is Love?, tracks that came out in the 1980s.

As one of the pioneers of the synthesiser-led New Wave movement in music, he was as notable for his shock of blond hair as for being one of a handful of British acts to successfully break into the American market.
