SINGAPORE - China has snubbed it and only a handful of Hong Kong films are on the slate.

With entries from the two powerhouses in the Asian film industry mostly absent from Saturday's (Nov 23) Golden Horse Awards, will Singapore nominees, the drama Wet Season and mystery drama A Land Imagined, have higher chances of victory at one of Asia's most prestigious film awards?
