A group of dangerous DC Comics crazies are gathered as a special task force to do good by fighting evil. These folks here are villains so nasty - "the worst of the worst" - even their cages in the secret government dungeon have cages.

"Maybe Superman was some kind of beacon for them to creep back from their shells," says G-person in charge, Viola Davis, about her growing collection.

This dark, unsettling and really cool trailer introduces the bunch, among them Will Smith as assassin Deadshot, RoboCop's Joel Kinnaman as soldier-guy Rick Flagg, Margot Robbie as psycho babe Harley Quinn and Oscar winner Jared Leto as the very scary Joker (above).

I haven't been so excited rooting for a bunch of baddies since Jose Mourinho's universally unloved Chelsea.

Hey, didn't we watch this movie before? Like 1995's Jumanji and 2008's Inkheart, this is about fictional creatures that come to life. Jack Black plays the writer of the Goosebumps books - an actual series of best-selling horror stories for children penned by author R.L. Stine.

Due to some nosy teenage idiots meddling with those scripts, the Abominable Snowman (above) pops out looking like a big furry monkey from Monsters Inc, the CGI-ed Wolfman growls, some giant spider attacks a Ferris wheel in an amusement park and little gnomes throw kitchen knives.

"Experience more monsters than you've ever imagined in one incredible adventure," says the promo voiceover. That's when I realised this wholly ho-hum clip is strictly for children and grown-ups with undeveloped brains.
