SINGAPORE - In the wake of Blu Jaz Cafe shuttering as a live music venue after it lost its public entertainment licence earlier this year, a handful of new spots have popped up, where live music fans can go for their fix of jazz and contemporary music by local and international performers.
For four nights a week, five-month-old cocktail bar Idlewild at InterContinental Singapore has shows featuring cool R&B tunes, classics and the occasional international jazz musician passing through town.
