DUBAI - Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria announced her engagement on Sunday (Dec 13) to boyfriend Jose Antonio Baston.
The 40-year-old actress announced her engagement in a photo to Twitter shortly after Baston proposed to her in Dubai, where the couple were attending the the 2015 Dubai International Film Festival.
"Ummmm so this happened....#Engaged #Dubai #Happiness," she wrote.
Baston is president of content and television at Grupo Televisa, the world's largest Spanish-speaking media conglomerate. He has been dating the Hollywood star since 2013, who rose to fame in the hit American TV series, Desperate Houseives.
Photos posted SnapChat showed the couple drinking champagne and kissing in the desert where red rugs couches, and an aisle of rose petals set up for them, as well as an aisle adorned with rose petals.
The E! website reported that Longoria made a "sand angel" and the couple even rode camels, ending the day by dancing long into the night to toast their happiness.
Longoria has been married twice, first to General Hospital soap opera star Tyler Christopher from 2002 to 2004, then to French NBA basketballer Tony Parker from 2007 to 2010.
