NEW YORK • Music and breast cancer were not the only things on the mind of one fan at a Harry Styles concert over the weekend.

Performing with other musicians at the Hollywood Bowl last Saturday night to raise awareness for the disease, the singer was targeted by a woman who made an indecent grab at his crotch.

He was then on his knees at the front of the stage to reach out to fans and shake hands.

When he closed his eyes to savour the connection, the woman struck.

An eyewitness told Yahoo! Celebrity UK that Styles quickly got up.

Though he stayed calm and continued with the rest of the show, he did not venture again to the section where the fan was.

Other fans - upset with the sexual assault - are not taking the matter lightly, with the hashtag #RespectHarry now trending on Twitter.

"This is a prime example that men are not the only ones who touch women without permission. Women also sexually assault," one person tweeted.
