October Music Festivals At The Arts House: Singapore International Festival Of Music And 5th Lieder Festival

The Arts House is home to two music festivals this month. The inaugural Singapore International Festival of Music, which ends tomorrow, showcases more than 40 young Singapore musicians in six chamber music concerts. The 5th Lieder Festival from Oct 16 to 18 will present three recitals, dedicated to the works of local composers, performed by The Sing Song Club. The line-up includes works by Singapore's pioneering composers such as the late Leong Yoon Pin, Cultural Medallion recipient Kelly Tang, Young Artist Award recipient Zechariah Goh, as well as a new generation of young and upcoming composers.
