JJ LIN SANCTUARY WORLD TOUR

Tickets for home-grown Mandopop star JJ Lin's Sanctuary World Tour were snapped up so quickly that the organisers have decided to add two more shows on Aug 15 and 16. The tickets for these go on sale at 10am on June 25 and there will be no pre-sales.

The singer-songwriter has twice been named Best Mandarin Male Singer at the prestigious Golden Melody Awards and he is once again in the running for the title. He has a total of six nominations at the awards taking place tomorrow, including Album of the Year for Message In A Bottle and Song of the Year for Little Big Us.

WANG LEI GLORIOUS 20 LIVE IN SINGAPORE

Singapore's King of Getai Wang Lei is known for his quick wit and funny live performances. In recent years, he has ventured into films, including playing Cantonese auntie Guang Dong Po in drag in Wonderful! Liang Ximei The Movie (2018).

JOANNA DONG "SO HERE I AM" CONCERT

Another local singer flying high is Joanna Dong. A second show on July 1 was added to her solo concert after more than 90 per cent of tickets were sold within a week. Fans of her attention-grabbing run on reality contest Sing! China last year will want to experience live her jazzy vocal stylings.

RIOT IN MAGENTA LP LAUNCH

Electronic act Riot !n Magenta release their self-titled debut album after having made their mark at events such as Esplanade's music festival Baybeats and indie music fest St Jerome's Laneway Festival. The group released their debut EP R3B007 back in 2013.
