CARACAL WELCOME THE IRONISTS ALBUM LAUNCH

Home-grown post-hardcore band Caracal are back with a new album, Welcome The Ironists, and they are kicking it off with an album launch gig at The Substation next week. The band say the record is a mix of "aggressive numbers and stomping slow-burners, telling a gritty story of hard lessons and tempered hope". If the lead single and title track is anything to go by, expect a mix of blistering guitars and soaring vocals that channel post-hardcore peers such as The Blood Brothers and At The Drive-In. Alternative rock band Silhouette will be supporting Caracal.

Where: The Substation Theatre MRT: City Hall/Dhoby Ghaut When: Dec 18, 7pm Admission: $26.50 (ticket) or $41.50 (ticket and CD) from welcometheironists.peatix.com or $35 (ticket) at the door
